G. C. M. College - 'A Temple of Learning' functions to educate and empower all those who want to enter in the corridors of this coliseum of knowledge. The management has diligently designed teaching methodology for the scholastic growth of students. The institution imparts education through intensive training providing different laboratories and imposing infrastructure.

A well-equipped lab for every course is set-up to conduct experiments through practical sessions. To facilitate students to keep abreast with the latest development in various fields.

Seminars and workshops are conducted and organized at regular intervals to stimulate thinking process of the students. Students are given ample opportunities to develop their presentation skills, indirectly nurturing communication skills. Major College events are organized in the Seminar Hall to harness the students’ skills with senior teachers moulding them to be all-rounders. Spacious classrooms with modern teaching devices are meticulously used to disseminate knowledge. Sports and games are organized throughout the year enabling students materialize their dreams in the field.

The Institute's Library provides a wide range of services and resources to its teachers and students. The Library actively supports the Institute's core activities such as preparing literature reviews, reviewing and writing theses assisting in content preparation for working drafts.

The library provides students with access to a vast repository of resources, including books and periodicals. These peaceful situations provide ideal study spaces. Library maintains an excellent collection in diverse disciplines. Completely automated library management system makes it possible an easy access to all library resources for the academic community and OPAC software make the searching easy to students. Multiple copies ensure that resources are easily available for reference in the library. Trained staff is always at hand to assist students.

Reference Section:

The library maintains a reference section which contains Newspapers, Magazines, Journals and Reference Books. Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, Multiple Volume Books, Year Books, Entrance Exam. Books, Government Publications, Maps, General Knowledge Books, Objective Type Question Books, External Exam. Question Papers, One copy of Text Books, Popular Books and some other titles as decided by Librarian and Library Advisory Committee will be in the Reference Section.

Borrowing Facility

• Two books will be issued to the borrowers against producing of Library Card issued by the library.

• Library borrower card is not transferable.

• Members should take care while borrowing because if he/she return a damaged/defaced book he/she will be responsible and fined accordingly.

• The borrowing period will remain stipulated as specified.

• All members should obtain ‘No Due Certificate’ from the Librarian and surrender the borrowing card for getting refund of caution money.

• The librarian fully reserves the right to recall any book from any member at any time.

Loss of Borrower Identity Card and Books

• Loss of library borrower card should be reported to the Librarian. Duplicate library borrower card will be issued on payment of Rs. 30 only.

Loss of borrowing books should be reported immediately to the Librarian to avoid any fine.

Further borrower shall either replace the books or bear price.

If the replacement is not done within 15 (Fifteen) days, the defaulter will be charged twice the cost of the book and if the book remains out of print, the defaulter will be fined thrice/multi times the price of the book.

If the book of multivolume set is damaged or lost the member concerned shall be liable to replace the whole set or pay thrice/multi times the price of the books.
